Should be, Front Dana 30, Rear Dana 35 The Bill of Materials (B.O.M) number is stamped on the right or left hand tube of the driving axles and with the help of a Spicer catalog you should be able to get all the specs and part numbers for the axle. You can input BOM hereto find model.

95 jeep wrangler transfer case is working but only back wheels are spinning


Chain in case could be broke or electronic locking mechanism could be malfunctioning in the front axle or one hub lock is not working.If one failes to work the other will not work.

A local Stereo shop will be the best to ask, There is no certain kind. They can show you what they have and may even work a deal on a model thats getting upgraded. They can install it for you

I have a 95 jeep wrangler the 4 wheel drive will not engage into 4 high or 4 low when you put the shiftter into the postion if feels like it goes in but does not engage and the light does not turn on...


My Wrangler had the same problem, it ended up being a vaccum leak on the front axle shift motor. It is located in the middle of the front passemger side axle tube.

Transfer case won't engage the front differential. Transfer will shift into all ranges, but will not engage.


95 wrangler has a Split front axle, check the unit on the front axle pass. side. Make sure vacuum line are connected and good.

i had to replace mine i cant remember what goes before the number but the number was sixy. it came in a blue bottle. if you have your owners manual it should tell you. just be careful you dont put the wrong kind in it cuz i can burn it up.
