Sounds like you need a new fuel sending unit "fuel pump" or the fuel gauge in the sending unit has gone bad and your out of fuel.
Change the fuel filter since that's the easiest and cheapest thing to do, You may have gotten to the end of the life time to the fuel filter and be too dirty to let fuel flow, or it's just the life time of the fuel pump. It's electric and the only thing that cools it down is the return fuel from the engine and the less fuel in the tank the hotter the electric fuel pump runs making it a short life.
Good luck and hope this helps, most pumps are only good up to 150,000 miles before replacement, longer then that makes you lucky and should play the lottery.

The valve that you are depressing is not an air bleeder it is a shredder valve used to check fuel pressure on, you most likely need a new fuel pump

2004 dodge ram 2500 5.7 hemi when driving it stalls out wont start again until you let it sit for over a day

Sounds like a coil problem, I don't know how the ignition systems work in the hemi's but your coil could be overheating.

Starting problem

Check your fuel pressure and volume. It that's ok, check your throttle position sensor. You can check it with a hand held scanner.
Good luck. Phil
