Passenger side rear door will not open from the inside or outside. I don't know how to fix get it open let alone fix it.

This is a hard one to deal with! You are better off going and paying a good bodywork garage to fix this!
To get at all the bolts and screws to fix the problem you need the door open.
For a home fix you would have to physically smash the outside door handle off and rip out the guts of it still in the door just to reach a small metal bar to open the door.
Pay someone else to deal with this headache.

I just looked on e-bay and discovered you will be needing to buy the outside door handle which comes with the lock cylinder.
You can probably buy one of these from a Chevy or GMC truck dealer, or go on-line and check with e-bay or others to get one.
You can also find one at a salvage yard, but there you may not get a key with it.
A locksmith can cut you a key, but a used handle and a "locksmith-key" may cost you more that a new one!
The handle and lock are held on with a couple of screws inside the door shell.

problems with 3 out of 4 doors? Has your vehicle been in an accident just before these problem started? Cavaliers are known for problems but I have never heard of this type of situation unless the vehicle has been in an accident and the body wasn't realigned properly or verified.

Typically when you get a door that opens from one handle and not the other the problem is inside the door and part of the latch assembly has either broken or come apart. To fix it you have to open up the door itself and get to those controls.

The reason I asked about the vehicle being in an accident is because you described the door opening on it's own. Now that could have been because it didn't catch correctly but with all the other problems you mentioned I am concerned that the doors are out of aligned.

Must be the internal door linkage has slipped off from the inside door handle. You will have to get the door panel removed to fix that linkage. This is all assuming it's a front passenger door you're having the problem with.
Rear doors have child safety locks built in that prevent the doors from opening from the inside, to keep the little ones from opening the rear doors accidentally and tumbling out. Those you can just slide a safety lever to allow it to be opened from the inside.
