If your question is where to add coolant, it's in the overflow reservoir, which is connected to the radiator.

I had a bottom radiator hose blow off my 05 equinox and I flushed the block then the heater core a d changed the thermostat put all new coolant in and still keeps overheating

What about the radiator? Water pump? Can you check for coolant flow? There could be air in the cooling system? Do you trust your temp gage? Are there overheating issues besides the temp gage showing hot, like coolant overflowing, under the hood, somewhere?

2006 chevrolet equinox over heating

How hot is the engine in degrees F? Are there any overheating issues besides temp gage? You may need to double check temp gage? If it is overheating, could be number of issues, some possibilities, thermostat--radiator fan--radiator--water pump. Also, you may need to check for combustion gases in the coolant? Are you losing coolant?

My 1993 bmw 318I water temp gage rises to the middle(like it should) stays there for a while than shoots up to hot. The thermostat has been changed the water pump has been change the gage sensor has been...

if the bottom hose never heats up then theres a flow problem. have u run the car up without the thermostat in ?? just cuz its new doesnt mean it works !! also radiators themselves can block up, back flush ur cooling system and check the radiator holds the water it should, if the bottom half of the rad is blocked, this will cause ur problem, the radiator sounds like its ur problem, make sure u blead the system aswell. the 318 4cylinder has a bleaad valve on the top corner of the rad if i remember correctly.

Water is boiling but the temperature gage level is

Hi there..
You say the water is coming out of the header tank bottle and the geuge stays the same OK so tell me ...how far do you have to go before the water comes out of bottle.
2, Has the thernostat been removed or replaced latley.
3,HOW HOT DOES THE RADIATOR GET WHEN CHECKING TOP AND BOTTOM OF RADIATOR AS IF ONLY THE BOTTOM GETS HOT AND THE TOP STAYS COOL THEN ITS THE THERMOSTAT OR THE WATER PUMP or if both are good then it could be something like a gasket ..
So let me know the answers to all the above ASAP Ron

Over heating

The radiator needs to have a rot out or get replaced. Over time the water deposits build up inside radiator and affect heat transfer.Keep your thermostst in. If you remove it your gas miledge will drop because the coolant temp sensor will tell the computer that the truck is not warmed up yet and the computer will tell the fuel injectors to ad more fuel. also in winter your heater will take a long time to heat up.
