Question about 1999 Chevrolet Venture
My Chevy Venture van will start, sometimes weakly. It may idle for a while, sputter, die and refuse to turn over. Another time it died while coasting to make a turn. Even a new battery could not maintain a charge. The electrical system seems to be draining it, not allowing it to charge as normal. Could it be the alternator?
It could be the alternator or possibly a short somewhere. Make sure that there arent any lites staying on under the good or somewhere that could be draining your battery. When ya sit and idle..turn the wheel sharply to the left then the right..if it dies then a cable may intruding on your wiring.
