Locate signal flasher & swap with hazard & see if the opposite occurs, if it does, replace flasher.

I know this is almost 3 yrs old but thank you Mike Butler, I was at my wit's end until I saw your post, I swtiched the hazard and signal flashers and my turn signals worked again and the hazards didn't so I knew exactly what needed to be replaced. Thanks again!

Turn signal and hazzards fail to work, brake lights, tail lights work, but when you apply the turn signal or hazzards lights go out

It sounds like your turn signal fuse might have gone out. It's not just a simple fuse to pull in the 96 Blazer. You actually have to take the lower half of the dash apart to get to it. It takes about 15 minutes in all to do. It's a round fuse right below your stereo almost. Here are a couple of links that I hope might help you!

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Where_is_the_turn_signal_relay_on_the_1996_Chevrolet_Blazer_S-10

The simplest way put, go to your local auto parts store and tell them you need a turn signal RELAY. It's the round relay. Then once you have that, go home and take apart your whole dash (you'll know what to look for since you already bought it) and replace it. It all should would after that! Best of luck to you!

Turn signal flasher

It's undre the dash, right under were thr radio sets. You have to drop the lower part of the dash. They set in the middle. They are round and one is the hazzard light the other the turn signal.
