Question about 1992 Ford F250
This one hits home. They usually start honking the horn randomly as well. There are a ton of covers to remove under dash then you follow the steering shaft to 3 sets of bolts that bolt the shaft in to wings off the sides. Once you remove these bolts the steering column will pretty much fall on your head. Watch out for that. It hurts. There's going to be a few plugs to unplug from the harness and remove the small string that connects the shift indicator, watch out this one breaks easy. I would suggest disconnecting the negative battery cable before you start this process because you may shock yourself or accidently explode the airbag. Hope this helps, be careful and good luck! Oh by the way, let me know how this turns out for you. I'll be checking in from time to time.

If it was me i would go to a good salvage yard and find one the same color as my and have it rekey at a locksmith so i can use the same key to everything else and before you do this make sure it not just the center nut is loose on the steering wheel and try this website to see if they have your car listed www.alldatadiy.com and if you need to find a salvage near you try this website www.junkyarddog.com and i hope i have been some help to you Michigan Man.
