I lost my transponder key for my 2000 Buick Century I have the ignition able to turn all the way start the engine but I need the resistance codes can I get them by attaching a meter to the two white

No you can't ,the resistance is in the pellet , not transponder , that's newer pass-key 3 .
When the (BCM) identifies the use of the correct ignition key (resistor pellet) to start the vehicle, the (BCM) will send a fuel enable and starter enable message to the (PCM) which will allow the vehicle to start.
You need the key to measure the resistance !

99 buick century need key codefor the transister amount 2g4ws52m1x1613790 is the vin lost original but read that can put resister in from raidio shack that is same amount

If you still have the key ,just measure the resistance of the chip in the key ,then wire the same
ohm resistor into the 2 white wires that go into the ign. tumbler.

I have lost my keys, and that include my buick keys, is there anybody know where I can get a key made? Please help. I have a 1997 Buick LeSabre

With your VIN number and proof of ownership (title, insurance card, etc.) any Buick dealer can cut and program a key for you. Any Chevy, Cadillac, or GMC dealer should be able to take care of as well.

I lost my buick century 2001 key....how do i replace it

Unless the Vehicle has been "re-keyed", any GM Buick Dealer can cut a new key, based on the VIN No. It will cost about $20-30 for an ignition key. A bit less for the Trunk and Doors.

Cant measure resistance, lost my only key!

Your key has a transponder in it and it needs to be programmed at a dealer. The on board computer is mated to the key and if you add a key, you must have all keys present and programmed at the same time. If you are close to a dealer you can give them the VIN number and they will be able to cut you a new key. Then if the shop foreman has time, he may come to your car and programme the key(s) for you. Other than that, you need to tow the car to a dealership. Hope this helps
