    RE:ccn7
my mechanic made a comment about the injectors but then he must have decided that wasnt it. he thinks it could be something with the computer or the anti theft module. I have never heard of an anti theft module and he said he has never ordered or replaced one. Do you know what this is?

Fuel pump. I had a Lumina that did the same thing. I started with the fuel filter and that didnt help so i tried starting it with starter fluid and that is how I discovered it was fuel pump. Expensive at garage but my boyfriend and cousin did it using pictures from autozone.com. WAY CHEAPER!

How about the fuel pump...are you getting the fuel to the cylinders? Is the fuel making it through the fuel line through the fuel filter? Drop a few drops in 1 cylinder, if it fires, you have a fuel problem. Does it turn over? If not check out the motor starter!

Check to make sure you're getting power to the coil when the key is turned. You may need a new ignition switch.

2002 blazer crank but wont start

2 things that you have to check on no starts every time. Spark at spark plug and fuel. Turn key to run position and listen at gas tank for fuel pump to run you should hear a whining noise. This will only happen for 3 to 4 seconds then it will shut off until engine starts. You can turn key off then to run every 3 to 4 to listen for fuel pump. You may hear the relay click off in engine area even if pump does not run. Fuel pump failure is pretty common. If pump is running pull spark plug out or put a spare plug into spark plug wire and have someone crank engine set plug on engine and watch for spark. This will give you a starting point. Hope it helps.

S10 blazer starting problems

First thing to do is chg. fuel filter, than if that don't help, do a fuel pressure chk. pump might be getting weak. if all that chks. out ok it could be fuel regulator, but most likely its either the filter or pump.
