Hi it needs a hub bearing sounds like the left one
jack up the left side so the left wheel is off the ground and start the vehicle and spin the wheel up to about 30 mph and you should hear the same noise and if not jack up the right side and do the same
hope this helps you

I have a 95 Grand Cherokee Larado.I have a binding noise coming from the front end. Just replaced, bearings and U Joints in front, and seals and bearings in back.

sounds like the drive shafts may not be right back properly or maybe a u joint not seated in straight
jack the truck up and spin whel by hand with 4 wheel locked and look for the binding noise

98 Cavalier Makes loud vibrating noise

sounds like another bad hub brg, jack up front end and check for play in wheels from top to bottom wiggle for movement. A loose wheel brg will set a front speed sensor code.

1998 Chevy Cavalier (Front end sound)

If I were you I would not use the car. It could be a bad wheel bearing or a steering tierod end thats about to go. Find out what the peoblem is first before driving. It could be several things. But a "thumping" noise sounds serious.

2001 Chevrolet Cavalier front End Roar

You must replace wheel bearings in pairs to avoid loading the old bearing and, in time ruining your new bearing hub it is possible that you have already damaged the new hub

GRINDING IN FRONT END

This sounds like a major problem. I had the same issue with a different truck. I will tell you in all honesty that the front-end is blown. The noise will continue to get worse. Soon it will occur driving in a straight line. The carrier bearings are symptomatic of failure. Its safe to drive on for a while, but in the long run you can eventually snap the front end. But before you go on rebuilding or selling the vehicle drain the fluid and replace with new and see if the problem goes away after driving 8-15 times in a flat parking lot doing figure-eights.

95 cavalier Computer

I have a 95 cavalier and am currently replacing the pcm. It isn't located under the dash. It is in front of the right wheel. You have to jack it up remove the right front wheel, and splash guard. I also suggest removing the bumper for easier access. You may have the remove the horn assembly to remove the pcm. I ended up bending my because well I'm lazy and my horn was going to be a pain in the **** to remove plus it didn't work. You should see 2 or 3 wire connectors coming out of it. Make sure you label them before removing them. They should be label anyhow but just incase.
