Question about 1997 Pontiac Firebird
I have a 1997 firebird formula that is overheating, replaced two damaged hoses, radiator, and water pump is not leaking, i have not found any other leak, but i do know that once the engine gets to normal temperature i loose coolant throu the coolant recovery cap after a lillte while if i have the heater on the air starts to come out cold and the temperarure starts raising, and help is really appreciated. Thanks.
Hi could be a thermostat or a head gasket
take the rad cap off a start the car see if there are bubbles in the rad if there are no bubbles then change the thermostat if there are bubbles then good chance it's a head gasket
