Question about 1998 Volkswagen Beetle
My son put the wrong key in the hatch to open it,and now the right key will not work.it worked fine ,until he did that.
Hi I am Vortash if your son forced the key in and it wouldn't have taken much force , it has probably bent some of the tumbler pins so that when the correct key is inserted it is not lining up to drop into the lock recess to open the lock unfortunately your looking at a new lock .. if you don't have a interior release lever then your going to have to drill the lock till the center barel is free and open it like that , .. Regards Vortash
