Remove fuses 1 by 1, each time replacing it so as to not mix any up. Again go through each one, and you will find the blown fuse. This will help you find blown fuses in less than 30 seconds. Blown fuses will have a burned look to them:

SOURCE: 1999 Oldsmobile Alero lighter fuse location

there's one under the hood and one right next to the left of where your left foot would be in the driver seat as for the diagram i would suggest going to an auto store and asking for a print out they'll give you a free one if you buy the part from them. the lighter should be in the fuse box under the hood

SOURCE: emissions test on inspection

There is a slight possibility there maybe a leak in one of the fuel lines or in the top of the tank itself. Do you ever smell fuel? If you can get the car into a clean garage, lay some newspaper or cardboard under the car and with the garage door open WIDE run the car for about 5 minutes, then check the paper for any fluid drips. Try to whiff the scent of the fluid to your nose (try not to inhale it directly) and see if it smells like gasoline. Remember the location in which you found the leak and take it to a mechanic to have them look into it thoroughly, especially in the area that you found the leak. That's just one idea you can try. It'll also help you see if your car is leaking any other fluids also. I hope this helps and don't forget to rate!

SOURCE: Did not pass state inspection (vehicle)

First the fault codes,
U110C is No Fuel Level Bus Message
U0155 is No Cluster Bus Message.
Unfortunatly you have to be able to communicate with the instrument cluster with your scanner to diagnoise and I do not think an aftermarket scanner can do this.

Engine Check light

Take it to autozone or another place like it and have them read the codes and tell us what they are.

Codes PO440 and PO101

Hello,

P0101 = Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor Performance
P0440 = Evaporative Emission (EVAP) System

I have had this problem before with trying to get my cars inspected. The easiest way I can suggest, is to bring it to Autozone or Advanced Auto Parts, and have them clear all your codes. Then put about 100 miles on the car of daily driving and bring it back to the same place to get it inspected. They should reinspect for no charge if you already paid for it.

I have noticed my check engine light going on when using the cheapest gas. Maybe try running a tank of the best stuff in there. At most, at least you will be cleaning your engine, and you will notice performance and gas mileage increases as well.

I hope this helps!

My 87 voyager won't pass emissions test.. I put complete tune up and oil change on it after it failed. Now the inspections place said it made it worst. I know the belt to my air pump is in bad shape ,...

You change oxygen sensors? thoses are now considered part of of tuneup on high mileage engines, plus if you drive highway for 30-49 miles before going gettting emissions testing you get better results.

How do you reset the check engine light for my 1997 Honda Accord? My catalac convertor is bad and I don't have the money to replace, but I need to get it inspected. I was told I could reset the lights so...

Even if you reset it you will still fail the test because the emissions monitor testing will not be complete. Once the monitors are complete the check engine light will turn on because the cat is bad. Its a catch 22.

If its just a safety inspection you may be able to get away with resetting the light. You can try disconnecting the battery for about a minute. or you can remove the back-up radio(clock) fuse from the under hood fuse block for about 30 seconds.

If you live in the continental US and your catalytic converter is bad your vehicle is not eligible to be licensed for on road use per Federal Emissions Laws.

Emissions test comes up not ready - can't pass inspection

Under the hood, there is a fuse block. I believe it is on the driver's side of your vehicle. Open that box, and pull the "ECU" fuse. Leave the fuse out for at least 5 minutes. Put the fuse back in, start the car, and let it idle for at least another 5 minutes. Do not drive the car, touch the gas, or even look at the gas pedal for these 5 minutes, as the ECU is remapping itself. This will properly reset the ecu and clear the codes. After this you may drive the car.
