Question about 1999 GMC Yukon
1999 GMC Yukon aft door will not lock. I have looked at the door connectors - there are five brass buttons on frame side and only four brass plates on the door side. Should there be five on both side or is the fifth button unused? Is this missing plate the cause of a lack of connection for power to lock the door?
Take some sand paper to those brass connection and get a shiny surface this is the most common fault. you didn't mention if the aft door glass has defrosting strips on the glass the possibl 5th pin is for those>
