Question about 1999 BMW 318 ti
The unlock function in the key will not operate in the morning but funnily enough, as the day goes on and after the car being driven, it will then operate perfectly for the rest of the day [a type of hangover problem!]. Also, to make matters worse, using the key manually will usually just open the driver's door. Any help really appreciated
Hi there, the battery in the key fob gets charged up as you drive. So if you do lots of small journeys, or only a short to anf from work then it won't charge up fully. you may also need a new key fob it the battery is failiing - you don't say how old the car is either....
