Sometimes my 2004 mondeo dosent start first time . I've tried different things like trying it with or without my foot on the clutch . This most often happens when its just been driven . For example if i'm driving a good distance and stop at a shop and go to restart the car . I drive around 200 miles a week and the car has 80k miles on the clock . It's a 2004 Mondeo 1.8 zetec . Any ideas anyone ?
Hi ,
first you need to have the car diagnostic codes read to see if there is anything obvious the ht leads do break down and the crank sensors are known for failing,is it worse hot or cold?,it could even be you beating the immobiliser,if you next time wait for the red immobiliser light to go out before trying to start the car and the problem does`nt happen you have a failing Transceiver problem .
