Several possibilities. Internal coil failure, wiring or connection problem, computer is not functioning properly to energize the coil pack. Which two cylinders? I gather the Check Engine light scan reveals misfire codes (DTC) P030? and P030?
Check out the wiring diagram:

P0304 Steady Check Engine

P0304 is a misfire on cly. #4. Pull the plug and see if there is a lot of oil that may be fouling it out. If you are burning oil, one thing you can do is switch to synthetic. Synthetic oil will not burn and it can minimize the loss.

Also if you only replaced one coil pac, you may have a problem there, but that is remote since each coil runs two cylinders and you only have a cly.#4 code.

Hope this helps.

My 1988 Chevy s10 2.5 cly. Won't fire. I pulled

All "crank, no start" conditions are approached in the same way. Every engine requires certain functions to be able to run. Some of these functions rely on specific components to work and some components are part of more than one function so it is important to see the whole picture to be able to conclude anything about what may have failed. Also, these functions can ONLY be tested during the failure. Any other time and they will simply test good because the problem isn't present at the moment.
If you approach this in any other way, you are merely guessing and that only serves to replace unnecessary parts and wastes money.

Every engine requires spark, fuel and compression to run. That's what we have to look for.

These are the basics that need to be tested and will give us the info required to isolate a cause.

1) Test for spark at the plug end of the wire using a spark tester. If none found, check for power supply on the + terminal of the coil with the key on.

2) Test for injector pulse using a small bulb called a noid light. If none found, check for power supply at one side of the injector with the key on.

3) Use a fuel pressure gauge to test for correct fuel pressure, also noticing if the pressure holds when key is shut off.

4) If all of these things check good, then you would need to do a complete compression test.

Once you have determined which of these functions has dropped out,
you will know which system is having the problem.

Check engine light can on had check at Auto zone says # 5 cly. miss fire . can it be coil pack or spark plug ?i think it coil on # 5 cly. how hard is it to get to ?

If it's a 6 cyl.,3.0 you're in for some expense. The coil pack(s) is under the intake manifold. This involves much labor and draining of coolant, etc. don-ohio

MY 2002 honda s2000 has a rough idle its missfiring on 3 and 4 cyl. i changed the plugs im thinking maybe its the coils any sugestions? is it safe to drive also

I would say the coil is most likly the problem if it runs 2 cly. and i would not drive it because of unburned fuel going into the cly's.
