No. try driving around for 5 to 10 minutes to warm up the catalytic converter. the catalytic converter is what converts the CO, CO2, and NOx emissions into water vapor, however, it doesn't work unless it's hot, around 1000 degrees F. it is heated be the flow of hot exhaust around it, so you need to drive for a while to heat it up.
