2004 Chrysler Pacifica-Air conditioner not working properly.

Is there a way I can fix the a/c unit myself or would i have to take it to an a/c specialist? It'll cool just a tiny bit when I turn it up all the way and when i push the little button with the picture of the car on it and an arrow around it (sorry, don't know what button is called). If i dont push that button it won't cool at all. it'll just blow hot air. any suggestions? i've tried looking under the hood with the car running to see if i'd see a loose belt or see or hear anything that would give me a hint as to what the problem could be but i cant figure it out. i bought a can of Artic Freeze that includes a gauge but i'm a little scared to put it where i think it should go. it may not be the right place. please help! than you.

There is a drain tube under your Pass. side of the heater unit .It kind of looks like a rubber hose. It must be cloged . Use a thin wire to clear it. Keep top vent clean under hood to prevent this Good Luck

My AC and Heater blower isn't working in the front vents of my 2004 Chrysler Pacifica what is the problem

If the air blows out of all of your other vents then you have either had an actuator go bad which controls which ducts the air flows through, or the shaft that has the "flap" on it has popped loose and no longer moves which will only allow air to go to the vents that are not locked. The easiest way to find out would be to get under the dash and start at the fan and trace air flow til you find the problem.

Why is the heater in my car keep blowing air when it is off 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

because you have a shorted blower module. it is located near or beside blower motor. replace this unit and all will be well again

Air conditioning

could be just a bit low on gas if two rads are used,or the seals on the flaps are breaking ,or the vacumn units are playing up or the vacumn pipes that feed them are splitting on the end so they are not closing properly
