Question about 1986 Ford F 250
Try to relieve the presure on the steering/ignition lock by turning the wheel to the right , and Left while playing with the key. Also If automatic trans try to shift oout of park , and back in.
If key not going all the way in , won't be able to turn it. Try some lock lubricant , WD40 will work in a pinch.... but graphite powder is beter.
Its possible that one of the pins in the tumbler has borken , bent , or fallen out , in which case replacement of the lock assembly is about your only option.
