Question about 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Would like find our what I am getting myself into when replacing the water pump on a 1996 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 6 cylinder. Could you give me a step by step proceedure. thank you
Not difficult. Lean on drivebelt to keep pump from turning while removing fan. The rest is bolt off, bolt back on, make sure all gasket material is off block. If you don't get a manual, draw yourself a belt diagram so you can put it back on. adjustment is either p/s pump or separate adjuster pulley below p/s pump.
