Question about 2006 Hyundai Azera
Need to replace blown bulb. I have the replacements,-------push in type .
The blown bulb is not coming out. Plastic Bulb holder is discolored as if stuff got to hot,--brownish.
Any suggestions . Thank you.
Sometimes winter road salt will cause these lights to do what you found. Try moving the bulb from side to side as you push it in. What you are trying to do is brake the bond created by the over heat or corrosion. If the bulb brakes, a real possablity, just get a good size stright screw drive and with the power off insert it into the base an tap it with a hammer, don't drive it home just into the base material so as to get a grip. The tapping will seat the screwdrive head and also brake lose the base. Mind you the holder may have seen better days and need replacing. They are avalable at any auto supply store. Good luck.
