Question about 2002 Saturn L-Series
Doesnt want to come out of park. Turn the key on and off and it does, but some times takes a while.
More than likely you have a bad body communication module (BCM) you might need to replace that in order to move the shifter turn the key to the on position with engine off and put it in neutral and then start engine. BCM needs to be replaced at a dealer because it needs to be programed

I think I help you here. Sounds like a bad brake switch. This is what tells the computer you have accuated the brake pedal to take the vehical out of park. Chances are your brake lights are not coming on as well. Check this switch out, it's located under the dash on the driver's side, behind the brake pedal. Hope this helps, good luck!
