I have a 2003 Chevy Impala 3.4 and I recently got a "highbeam out" message in the message center. I checked the lights and both highbeams are on with the lowbeams. The are stuck on and will not go out. Any suggestions for me to fix this problem? Thank you.

do you have the right light bulb? i own a 98 sentre and
it takes a 9004 bulb, but walmarts computer said to use 9007. That made the high beam censor stay on till i replaced it. if you look at the bulb you can tell if it is a dual or single beam bulb.!!!!

My headlights only work on highbeam.

Yes there is a relay switch that allows the low to high beam switch to occur. It shoud be mounted under the hood along the firewall. Check your manual too!

Thanks,
