Question about 2003 Kia Rio
Over a period of a day my kia has lost power it is a 5 speed i put on the car anywhere bewteen 150-200 miles city driving, in first gear i used to be able to go about 25-30mph and in 2nd 40-45. now in 1st i can barely get up to 20 and in 2nd barely to 30. and it can barely make it uphill. clutch is fine. spark plugs, wires and coil are new. i am in need of some serious help.
Is the engine light on? If not it could be mechanical. The engine sounds like it is suffocating. This could be because of your catalytic converter, air or fuel filter. Take a look at the vehicles repair/maintenance history and go from there. If the car has over 100k miles then you may need the CAT.
