Po700 is transmission, If getting po1776 Solenoid Valve Switch. The Transmission Solenoid Pack needs to be replaced. This is on the top of the trans in the front, just below the lines & input speed sensor. $180 part # 5140429AA with gasket. 90% of 41te trans problems are with this ******, Gasket leaking $3 part at dealer. This can be done by any home mech

The postings I've read all say a switch is sticking. Some say in valve body and some say solenoid pack. I'm betting it's the solenoid pack. I'll find out soon.

PO700 code

code p0700 is the transmission control module (TCM) fault.. Check that there is power from the ignition switch in the start position either to the starter solenoid or to the starter relay.. If there is power tom the solenoid then the fault may be in the solenoid. IF there is power to the relay and it clicks then the fault may be in the relay (check voltage on the starter wire out ) or the starter solenoid.

What kind of problems means code po1776

transmission code P1776 - solenoid switch switch valve latched in Low-Reverse Position
Most of the time it is either a solenoid switch valve stuck(internal trans part), internal trans failure requiring overhaul, or PCM failure. As all these possibilities are expensive, have the proper testing done so that you get it repaired correctly the first time instead of guessing and wasting money on replacing a perfectly good part.
Problems don't seem related

P1782 po700 codes what are they?

2000 caravan with codes p1782 and po700,this is transmission codes, i will tell you this, with out a good scan tool to check the problem correctly you will be just throwing money at it.

this may be due to a bad shift solenoid pack or wiring or internal transmission problems. sorry to say but these transmission are junk.
I would have a transmission shop or dealer check it, maybe the dealer unless you know a good transmission shop that will not try to sell you a rebuilt ******.

Transmission problems???

The electronic shift solenoids are serviced as an assembly that is quite easy to replace. Your fault codes are all related to shift solenoid faults.

I have a 2002 intrepid SXT 3.5L automatic trans(not the auto stick version) Just got codes PO700 and P1776 Would like to know what the codes indicate, and what repairs could be needed?

P0700 is an alert code the p1776 is the actual trouble code.
Code p1776 is solenoid switch valve latched in low/reverse position. Valve is located in valve body not solenoid body reploace it

Po700 and p1776

P0700 is EATX code present. It simply means that the engine computer has noticed that the transmission computer has a dtc in it. This causes the Pcm (engine computer) to turn the check engine light on. You will need to have the TCM (trans computer) checked for codes to know what to diagnose.

error code P1776 - Replace rear solenoid switch

Likely both related The P1776 probably kicked off the P0700 notification.

Hope that helps! Happy Motoring!
