Question about 1993 Geo Tracker
I bought a 1993 tracker yesterday and it ran fine about an hour home. And it ran fine going to a friends house later that night. When we went to leave it cranked but wouldn't catch. We finally got it started but it died again on us in the middle of the highway and we had to have it towed to our house. Today we tried to jump it to see if it would start and it sounds like it wants to start but it just can't catch. Its so frustrating. Could maybe bad gas be the problem? Or something worse?
On this year car the catalytic converter might be clogged or the timing belt is broken. to see if it is the converter, take out the oxygen sensor before the catalytic converter and see if it starts if so then the converter is clogged otherwise get back to me and we'll go from there. please rate my fix as i strive to be the best Thanks Ray
