when window was replaced lock linkage may have been disconnected or damaged

Keyless entry remotes allow you to put down and roll up the windows in your car. You would have to have the power windows feature installed on your keyless remote. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Probably the battery in the remote. Would check that first. Let me know if that works before getting deeper into it.

disconnect battery for 10 minutes.

You should have it scaned to see if you have any codes. It has a RCDLR (remote control door lock reciever) this is the module that recieves the signal from the fobs. If it has a problem then the system will not work. If it has to be replaced then a dealer will have to program it for you. Good Luck

The keyless entry is designed to work with the doors closed (closed - not locked). If the door ajar sensor thinks the door is open the keyless entry is disabled. When you manually lock the door it might tighten the door just enough to activate the keyless entry. I would try slamming all the doors closed and then see if the keyless entry works. If it still wont work have the wiring checked on the front door lock.

You might try Opening the Door and Opening the Hood and Disconnecting the Battery. This should reset the System. If this is the Factory Keyless Entry, There is a Relay and a Fuse for this. Check them and see if they are Bad or Blown.

check this fuse first. I believe it's #30. Check with chart on fuse panel cover or in your owner manual.

Lock all the doors from the inside (with all the doors closed), unlock your driver's door by manually lifting the lock, then press it back down after you are out - this will prevent the alarm from sounding when you use the key to unlock the door.

My keyless entry did the same thing on my cobalt. There are two tongs that get displaced. Atleast that's how it is in mine. I find if i hit the clicker off my hand a couple times it works. Sounds funny i know but that's the only thing i've found to work
