I purchased an engine without a tube or dip stick, and do not know what I should purchase, and where these will fit into the engine? I need to know where the oil dip stick and tube are located on the engine? My car is a 1969 Ford Mustang Super Cobra Jet with a 428 Engine.

The dipstick and tube go to the sump it is at the very bottom of the engine block should be a large smooth pan looking thing that covers the bottom of the engine, dont know where you can purchase these things but go to a place that sells car parts and put an order in for the parts with your engine make and model number

What's your question?my Isuzu 4ja1 engine .my problem is the oil comes from deep stick

i think you mean
when running the engine
the DIP STICK seal as it fits the dip stick tube end. leaks oil
this a bad PCV valve.
excess crank case pressures.... cause by not doing service on car.
or worse a very worn out engine with huge blow by gassed.
is engine miles high? over 300k? miles?
or the dips stick seal there is bad.... looking at it tells you that.

Where do I add Transmission fluid on a 95 ford Probe??

So you know, I am not insulting you. I don't know what you know or what you don't know. From your symptoms, I'm confused. If you pulled the trani pan down and the trani dip-stick still read "Full", you pulled the wrong dip-stick. Your transmission takes Mercon and you will need a narrow funnel that will fit inside the trani dip-stick tube. Follow the dip-stick tube all the way to the bottom and verify that it goes to the transmission. When you pulled the trani pan down you should have four or more quarts empty into your drain-pan. Until you can confirm that the the trani is properly filled, don't continue to use the car. Running the engine while the trani is empty can damage internal componants. If you have any questions, please write back, good luck.

Where do u put transmission fluid in

Remove the transmission dip stick and add the fluid to the transmission through the dip stick tube. You can purchase a funnel to help pour the fluid in. Add in small amounts, run the vehicle, shift through the gears and check level with engine and transmission warmed up. Be careful not to overfill. Hope this helps

Where is located the transmission oil?

most Mercedes built in the last 12 to 15 years do not have a dip stick , only the tube. The dip stick is considered a special tool now and must be purchased from dealer.

I have found the hole i think that the transmission dip stick goes in but no stick threaded hole what does dip sticklook like so i will know what to purchase

The hole for the transmission dipstick should be a very skinny metal tube that comes up along side your engine from underneath. As far as the stick it is almost identical to an oil dipstick. Maybe a little longer is all.

How do you remove broken oil dipstick from a 1999 ford escort?

The dip stick tube is pressed into the engine block. Put a bolt into the top of the tube so that the body of the bolt goes into the tube and the bolt head rests on the tube (so it does not fall down the tube). Use a wrench (such as a Vise grip) to hold onto the tube at the bolt and gently work it back and forth, being sure not to deform the tube. Remove the tube and old dip stick. Replace the tube by forcing it back into the eng. block. Replace the dip stick - done :)! Some dip stick tubes have a gasket at the engine - others just **** up to a shoulder that is built into the tube. Let me know if this works. Thanks.

How do i refill the transmission oil in my 1997 Micra auto (1 ltr). Can't find the cap.

Hi: To Refill your Auto Transmission with Tranny Fluid, There is NO CAP, Look For a Dip Stick Similar to your Oil Dip Stick. You Refill your Transmission where the Transmission Dip Stick comes out of a Tube. You'll Need a Funnel that Fits inside the Transmission Dip Stick Tube. This Should Resolve your Question. Please Vote and That actually sends me How Well I have Helped You. Where do i add transmission fluid in a 97 c1500

If you know where the automatic transmission dipstick is, under the hood close to the firewall, (where you check your fluid), this is also where you add fluid. You will need a funnel with a small discharge end to fit into the dipstick tube. Good Luck. i hope this is very helpful!

Broken Dip Stick

Most dipstick tubes are a "press fit" into the engine block, and can usually be removed without pulling the engine (if you can get to it).

However, it may be broken off too short, or the mechanic simply cannot reach it with the engine in the car.

Personally, I would get a second opinion before you pay all that money to get a $10 dipstick tube to be replaced.

Try the local Ford dealer. Most of the time, a seasoned dealer mechanic knows "tricks" to do different things.
