Your transmission runs through part of the radiator. Check your fluid level and see if your hoses are conneced right.

If you removed the radiator, the transmission cooler lines on the bottom would be the first place to check. Wouldn't take much to get a kink in the line, and a possible cause for your shifting problems. Best of luck to you.

It won't shift 1-2 or 2-3 or both unless you let off? If it is just 1-2 it might be a band adjustment, but I'll bet you have a plugged governor solenoid screen also.

Get the pump pressure checked in your transmission. It sounds to me like you have low trans pressure. It will act like a slipping clutch in a manual. Also check your trans filter. It will amaze you the difference it makes when you change a clogged filter. Good luck.

Dodge Ram 2007 Coolant in Transmission oil. What

There is a crack inside the radiator.

Modern radiator has transmission cooler and engine coolant on the same unit.

The radiator is defective.

DO NOT start the engine and report the problem to the dealer ASAP.

Transmission slipping

Did you check the trans oil level. When you changed
the RADIATOR you will loose some trans oil.
If the transmission oil was low when you changed
the radiator it's lower now. Check it now.
Now, if thats not the problem. With that many miles
have you changed the trans oil lately theirs a filter
above the trans oil pan that may be pluged up change
it and the oil. Also, buy a can of trans X it's the only fix
in a can stuff I"LL use.

in your transmission you have a shift solinoid that is probably sticking, when and if you replace it, also have the bands adjusted (every 12000 miles or the next transmission flush)
