Question about 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Missin and studdering to take off

My truck check engine light came on about 2 weeks ago saying system to lean bank 1 and 2...i changed fuel filter and it stayed off...now it came back on saying circuit 2 sensor 2 bad...its missing when starting out then when it gets to about 2500rpm it takes off

Chances are it is a bad upper intake seal. It is sucking air and making it code. It cost about 400 to have a mech fix it.

Check Engine light is on my 1997 F150 with a small V-8. The tester returns codes P0171, P0172, P0174 and P0175. What does all this mean?


those codes are for lean engine condition look for vac leaks at the back of engine to the pcv valve could hear hissing noise with engine running also check egr valve to be stuck open also when was last fuel filter changed? hope this helps .

there is only one bank on a pt cruiser and yes it could be a fuel pump or a vacuum leak

OBD Code says ''Lean Bank 2 - System too lean


Bank 2 is generally the passanger side. Recently, We have run across a few system to lean codes in Fords. We have ended up changing the O2 sensors.

2002 AUDI A4 OIL LIGHT COMES ON AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT.


The code system too lean, is caused by the bank 1 02 sensor, as far as the oil light coming on with oil ok,I would say the oil sending unit. Have those checked or replaced. Without testing this and that, it's hard to say what's causing it.

Generally when these codes appear it is due to insufficient fuel pressure. Test your fuel pump to ensure it is within specs. Have you changed your fuel filter?
