If this is a manual transmission, could also be the clutch 'safety' relay. If it clicks once when you turn the key, but does nothing else, this is likely your problem. This is fairly common to these trucks (I have one as well and have gone through 2 of these relays). It is a small blue relay located against the passenger side fender well under the hood, toward the front of the engine compartment. Should only be a $30 or so part and simple install.

I try starting my car and it wont start

Just fully dead? No clicking or anything when trying to start it (key to position START)?

lots of possible issues, but the first place due to a dead battery, or a main battery wire that's broken or simply come loose.

If it's a dead battery, you need to determine if it's just lived its life, or if your alternator is dead. This is what charges your battery while the engine is running.

Try charging your battery overnight using a good commercial battery charger. They're not too expensive and you'll find lots of uses over the years for them anyway. Just look online for 'auto battery charger maintainer', or at your local auto parts retailer.

Once you get your car up and running again, even temporarily, find a 'Batteries Plus' type place. They'll test your electrical system (battery and alternator) for FREE and let you know what's up. They also sell car batteries...

Wont start turns over and clicks even with battery charger on jump start mode

Sounds like a bad starter. Even though the battery is charged the starter is to week to turn the motor over. Try replacing the starter and see it that helps. If that does not work. Go to a dealership mechanic. Thanks for asking!

Car wont start, just a clicking noise from the engine, insurtument clocks go all the way round before resting back at zero

If you are getting a rapid clicking noise, that means the battery is dead or you have a poor connection between the battery and starter. It could also be a poor connection on the negative or ground side of the battery or ground cable. Try jump starting it or put a battery charger on it for a half hour or so and try it again. If you get it going you should have the charging system and battery checked ASAP (as soon as posible). If you don't need to go anywhere leave the charger on the battery over night, set the charger on a slow charge rate less than 15 amps.

Car wont start, acts like battery is dead. battery shows full charge. full lights, buzzers, etc. put it on charger-didnt start...cleaned cable connections-didnt start...tried to jump with truck-didnt...

Check the battery +12v power connection to the starter is in good order,
Check the ground connection between the battery negative and the engine/starter motor is robust and intact.
If no problem with above, replace the starter motor.
