Have you changed any bulbs in the rear lights yet? you can put 2 different bulbs in the 3rd brake lamp,921 and a 922. one of them will read the wrong resistance and then you will get a lamp out warning. check and make sure that they all match

Light on 05 grand cher.

Gently push the side of the clear lens in while lifting up. It will just pop out of there so you can replace the bulb.

Just bought my 94 jeep cherokee & the screen in the middle consol continues me beep and flash ''rear lamp failure''

the driver information center(DIC) is telling you one or more of your rear light bulbs has failed. it could be a tail light, stop light, center high mount stop light, turn signal or license plate light. have someone in the vehicle turn the lights on and hit the brakes and turn signals so you can see which one is burned out.

95 Jeep Gr. Cher, rear pass window won't roll-up.

If you inspect the harness, it really does not matter what the wire color is if the wire is damaged, repair it
Any broken wires are not a good thing. Also check the wires for the door that has the problem as well. The master switches on jeeps are poorly made and sometimes replacing it will help...I use scrapyard parts for that. A test light and decent voltmeter are very helpful in finding and verifying voltage in wires.

Rear light failure?

Hey, my 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee did the same thing and it took me a long time to find a solution. It turned out, at least in my case, that there was a burnt out bulb just above the license plate. When I replaced it the warning went away.

Check the center brake light assembly. There are 3 bulbs and if one is out it will give you the bulb out warning. This is frequently missed as if the center bulb is out it is easy to overlook.

Do yourself a favor and replace all 3 when you are there as the dissassembly/assembly is not that easy on 96-98 Grands
