Can anyone tell me how to find out if the Aveo 1.6 Automatic engine and gearbox are made in Korea or Germany or indeed any info. I want to buy a 2008 Aveo but am hesitating because of the Korean engine. How would I tell the manufaturer on the engine itself ?

At first I thought it was because the oil may of been low. I changed the oil and added Lucas sealer and the ticking noise is still happening. It doesn't happen when the car first starts only after running a few minutes.
