Question about 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt
I would say your best bet is to go to www.cobaltss.net they have very good and detailed how-to's on there. There is some trim above the glovebox that is held by clips, this can be pulled manually. There is more trim just to the right of the steering wheel. To take this off you will need to take off the large plastic cover just beneath the steering wheel. This is also held by clips and is fairly easy, just use a little force. Now you can remove the trim just to the right of the steering wheel. Your best bet is to pull from underneath. dont worry about the clips, everything goes back in just as it was. now you can remove the trim surrounding the stereo. From there there are 9/32 SAE screws which need to be removed and you will see where they are. Depending on where exactly you want to get to will depend on which ones you want to remove. Once again though, check out that website as it has plenty of useful information and really cool mods.
