Question about 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 Truck
2005 Dodge 2500 diesel just stopped when backing out of the driveway and acts like it is out of fuel (fires on one or two cylinders) when we try to start it, it has just over a quarter tank of fuel.
First place to look would be your lift pump (fuel pump located behind the fuel filter housing). listen to it when you turn the ignition on, it should run for a few seconds and if you bump the starter it should run for about 30 secs. if you dont hear it running that is most likely your problem
