Look under the hood on the radiator support there should be a belt routing diagram and next to or near that is the vaccum lines diagram

coolant under the manifold is a hole ( corrosion)and if water is coming out then uncontrolled air can get in giving you the running problems. Have a compression test done to check for blown head gasket. Have a coolant pressure test done to find the leaks

I get the same problem with the heater not working and overheating i changed the radiator the thermostat. is it worth it to fix it i read that people have changed the pump and the head gasket and it won't...

I think I'd check the coolant hose going into the waterpump. Is it kinda squishy? If it's collapsing, the water pump can't get any coolant intake--the engine overheats, but there's no warm coolant circulated into the heater core.

It's worth it to f ix this if you want to keep the engine from frying. Overheating bad thing!!!

No heat to cab in 96 dodge ram, will defrost.

you might have a vacuum leak, ck the vacuum line to the firewall where the a/c lines are at and make sure a check valve is in it also.

Vacuum pump diagram 2002 ram

It is very likely that the vacuum hoses are the problem. The only people that have a manual with the diagram you need is a dodge dealer, contact the service dept at your local dealer and they will probably photo copy you a diagram from the service manual.
