Is there a fuel pump reset button on this car ,if so wheres it at?

no reset start by checking ignition key if its worn down vehicle wont recognize it also is key an electronic key may have gone bad if good recheck fuses if good pull fuses and check for power if good recheck relay if good pull relay and check for power if good than check lines and connections and power at pump connections if good than pump bad if anything bad leading up to pump repair replace and recheck connections up to pump also check battery connections for corrision

Check connections to the washer pump motor. Test the pump motor with a jumper from positive power or battery terminal to the
pump positive connection. Double check the negative side (ground) for good connection to the body metal. Corrosion does funny things to electrical connections. Bad pump motor? Replace the pump. If the motor is ok, follow wiring back to a controlling relay. Follow the wire from steering collum switch which could be bad to a relay. Check steering collum switch for voltage when turned on. Truck is not getting fuel

First check to see if a fuse is blown left side of steering column lower dash door. If fuse checks good remove the driver side kick panel for the fuel pump relay, a small plastic box with wires entering it. Raise the hood, disconnect the negative battery cable, then remove the relay. A good parts shop should be able to check the relay. If it's faulty, replace it. If not, test the wires leading to the fuel pump for power and replace or splice any where the power supply is broken. If replacing the the relay and checking wiring doesn't fix the problem you'll need to check the fuel pump which is located in the gas tank. This involves dropping the tank and removing the pump for testing. Relays in the Mazda pickups are the usual culprit. If none of the above works, the vehicle computer may be shot, and not a cheap fix. Mazda a in the late 80's to early 90's used Mitsubishi computers which are notorious for failing. Rebuild: $200. Used $60-150. If you need a new computer, go for the rebuilt, since a junk yard replacement could fail as well if it hasn't been previously rebuilt.

Power steering went out on a 2002 trailblazer. the serpentine belt was slipping off so I replaced the serpentine belt and pulley tensioner, still out. Pulled the steering pump, pulley shaft was broken....

Have you checked your tie rods? Possibility one is either bent or broken, I've seen it before on TB's. That pulley shaft is a common problem to break, especially when cold out. PS pumps/pulley shafts and tie rods will snap if doing donuts in the snow with the steering wheel cranked, or off-roading. The PS is completely mechanical, no fuses or relays.

Xterra car quit running. had no spark @ distributor. replaced crank sensor and got spark. no gas pressure. replaced fuel pump, new one do not work. no power to it. checked fuses/relays, no luck. ran...

Yes, there is fuel pump relay, which is generally located on the passenger side kick panel. But in your case, the fuel pump relay on 2002 model Xterra is indeed located under the dash around the steering wheel, but no you don't need to remove the cover just lay in floor and you can see it, it will slide off a bracket and you can remove and replace it.

Left lightes on ran batter down after jump starting power steering won't work,is there a fuse that may have blown?

yes, if its an electronicly assisted rack and pinion which im almost certain HHR's are. check your under-hood fuse panel for the power steering pump fuse relay. it's very likely blown. another, more frightening, possibility is that when you started your engine on the jump, the other cars battery was a much higher cold cranking ampere rating than yours and you sent a fatal short to the pump itself, even if the fuse blew it might not have prevented this since high cold cranking amps can bridge relays like no other if your cars circutry isnt meant for it.

fuel cut relay in drivers dash fuse box. it is located on back side of fuse box,remove and jump (at fuse box )terminal 1 and 2 where relay was removed should then have power to fuel pump.if so repLACE RELAY

No power at fuel pump chev.S-10 looking for fuel pump relay and fuse

The fuel pump relay is located Under hood, driver side, upper firewall, mounted in relay block.

The fuse is located under the instrument panel to the left of the steering column. The fuse block should be visible from underneath the steering column, near the pedal bracket. If the panel is not visible, check for a removable compartment door or trim panel which may be used on later models to hide the block.

Not getting fuel

hi there,
check your fuel pump fuse on fuse box panel it was located driver seat left side on dash board or on right side of engine fuse box,pull out cover cover, on the backside cover there is specified fuse find fuel pump fuse replace if could you know if busted on fuse there is thin wire serve as connection if this was cut off inside means it was busted,on compare to other fuse the wire inside fuse.if good check your relay fuel pump relay located beside steering rod under the dash board, it might be defective also.have a nice day rate my fix thanks a lot.
