No voltage from switch to solonoid

see the diagram attached and proceed according.you must test the switch for open or faulty, this problem NO permitt to goes the voltage to solenoid replace, However test any wires from swtich to soleonid can be broken or open and replace or repair.Of course you must test the Fuse or c. breaker for interruption. God bless you1_24_2013_6_01_05_pm.gifYou can prove to bypass the switch for solenoid see the diagram1_24_2013_6_01_59_pm.jpg

1984 ford f-150 4x4 ignition wiring diagram i need to see a break down wire for wire from starter to soloid to voltage regulator new starter new ignition module new started soloid and vechicle will not...

when looking at it from the front the most left is from the battery, now going right from there the little pin is from ignition, basically to flip this giant switch on. next little pin goes to your fuel shut off relay, it will turn on that relay to send power to your pump while cranking, next is the large out. far right. that goes to your starter.

Installed a new alt- not getting any power to the battery, where does the cable go from the alt? where is the voltage regulator?

The "Batt" wire probably goes to the starter solenoid or starter relay. The wire is most likely corroded off or it's making a poor connection. Some vehicle route the power directly to the battery, look for a fuseable link in the wire. Use a test light too see if you have power on both sides of the fuseable link. There should be power at the "Batt" terminal of the Alt at all times, if not start tracing the wire back to the battery. The voltage regulator is built into the Alt. Hopefully this helps.

Battery light on after new alternator

there are three wires on the alternator. one is a feedback voltage that switches on the alternator via the internal voltage regulator..there is an 18 gauge fusible link that runs from that wire to the battery to sense the voltage. they are fuses, but look like a regular piece of wire, they blow quite often, get the wiring diagram for the vehicle
