Question about 2000 Ford Escort
Hi, i have a 1998 "r" 1.8 turbo diesel escort.number 3 injector is leaking fuel and it will not run properly as i think air is getting in.the injector has 2 wires coming out of it,can i replace the injector with a standard one or does it have to have another one with the 2 wires on it.
i would be greatful for any help on this
Escort diesels dont usually have injectors with wires on them. It sounds like it has got a wrong injector fitted. Unless the wires connect to something else, a standard injector should be ok. If you are in any doubt, have a word with a techy at your local ford garage
