These are anti theft security codes for the radio, each one is unique to the car aand the radio serial number, they are not published on the internet, if they were they wouldn't be much use as security codes would they?

All you have to do is call the dealer with the serial # and Vin and they should be able to give you the code. Then write it down somewhere in you owners manual. You can also check in the back of your owners manual, some dealers put a sticker in there with the code on it when they sold the car. Good luck.

Unfortunately there is no other way, I specialized in nothing but BMW for over 3 years and the only way we could get the radio code was through the dealer. When you get it from them just make sure to write it down, so you don't have to go through this again.

Radio codes are intended as a theft deterrent so you can't access them freely. Record your vehicle VIN and the Serial number off the radio chassis and go here: www.radiocodes.com

Hi i have a kia serento 2003 3.5 petrol i replaced the battery and now i need a radio code do i have to take the radio out to get the serial number or is there any other way of getting it thanks

You shouldn't have to remove the radio. Contact KIA customer services with the cars VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) usually found at the bottom of the drivers side windscreen. They will be able to give you the radio reset code. Before doing this have you tried the often used default codes such as "0000", "1234", or "9999", these work in a lot of cases. There are also online services (they do charge a fee) that can get your radio code back.

Ford S-MAX 2008 radio PIN Code required. VIN:WF0SXXGBWS8G16454. Thanks

I just found the codes on a ford radio and it may or may not be the same for your radio, but you can try it. If your radio has digital read out on the screen, you simply push down and hold at the same time buttons 1 and 2 and your code should come up. Hope this works for you. Good Luck.

CL. Where can I get radio code?

You need to get it through a Ford dealer if they still have the info for your vehicle VIN in the database.

I need radio code for visteon serial number m028804

No one ,any place in the world, should have your radio code

Do not give out any Vin # or anything on your vehicles

You have to go to a Car Dealer, to find the radio code,
unless it came with your new car package & owners manual

You will need your VIN # at the dealer & proof of ownership,
& ask & write down how to install the code

Radio is locked after battery disconnected

Look around for a small label with a 5 digit number on it. Look inside the glove box and console. You will need the 5 digit code to unlock the radio. To get the code you will need the serial # of the radio. In order to get the serial # it is necessary that you remove the radio from the dash or at least remove enough of the dash so you can see the serial #. The serial # is located on top of the radio chassis. Numbers that start with M1C, M3G, M46, & YEFM are not the serial #. Look for another number on the chassis. Now with the serial # and the VIN number off the car go to the Honda Owners Link and register your Honda. You will be able to get the code there for free, but you must have the VIN and Serial #. https://www.ahm-ownerlink.com/login.asp?page=%2Fprod%5Fhome%2Easp
