It's inside the dash and requires the removal of the entire dash and framework, center stack and tunnel, kickpanels, etc. Not fun or easy at all.

You likely have low coolant causing a large air pocket. This will cause the sensor to pick up the hot steam but the lack of flow through the heater core will not heat up the interior.

Heated seats quit working 2005 audi a4 1.8T .....what should i look for 1st? is there a common problem or fuze to look for somewhere?


Yes. Look for the fuse. Open driver door all the way. It is next to the steering wheel, between the door and dash. Remove cover, and there should be a card that tells you which one is the seat heater.
