Question about 2005 Toyota Corolla
This is a very common problem with the 96-05 Corolla clocks. The clocks are very prone to internal failure. I offer a reasonable repair service with a lifetime guarantee, check it out: www.autoclockrepair.com
There is a bunch of useful info there. Drop me an email if you have questions, thanks!

Sorry I have been out of town. I went to the library and borrowed the Chilton book. I already had it right, but the back light cover was just not being cooperative. After jiggling it a little more, it came off and I was able to change the bulb. I wish they had made it simpler like the old Camry _ where there wasn't so much difficulty getting at the bulbs.
Thank you for checking.

The first thing to do is to check the fuses, this sounds like a bad fuse or could be a bad bulb for the dome light and fuse for clock or bad clock. hope this helps.
