Fuel filter on that vehicle may be part of regulator assembly located on top of the fuel sending unit on gas tank...likely why parts store does not list it!!!

Were is my fule filter located on my 2000 jeep grand che v8 4.7 l

It should be under the vehicle in front of gas tank towards the driver side. If you have the new filter then you know what it looks like. Hopefully the vehicle sits high enough that you don't have to raise and support the vehicle. If you do have to raise and support the vehicle, there are safety issues working under a vehicle, safety is your responsibility.
Make sure no pressure on the fuel system before taking any fuel lines loose, use a catch pan, if you think too much gas is running out of the lines, plug the lines till your ready to go back with new fuel filter, just remember to remove plugs. Be careful not to start a fire. Do the repair in open air not a garage, in my opinion.

Where is the fuel sensor on a 1997 jeep grand cherokee

Have you checked the fuel filter? I would pull the fuel line apart before the filter to see if the pump is putting gas into the line. With key on, the pump should run for 2 seconds to pressurize the lines and fuel rail. And when the engine is cranking over, the pump should be running constant and putting gas into the line. If gas shoots out, possibly the filter is clogged or the fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail is defective. If no gas comes out, possibly the pump filter sock is clogged or the pump is defective.
Very unusual for the pump to run and have NO fuel pressure.

How do you know when to change fuel filter

Running out of gas can destroy the catalytic converter.. Disconnect the converter and see if it will run different, if it does replace the converter. You should change the fuel filter at least once a year.

2002 jeep liberty turns over but will not crank. I hear the fuel pump at the gas tank but it still acts like it isn't getting any gas, I thought it was the gas because my husband's truck stopped...

Check for pressure at your fuel rail, If your fuel pump is working correctly you should be getting fuel spraying out of the rail when you press in on the needle valve (sometimes covered by a small cap)

This will let you know if your fuel pump is working, and at least if fuel is making it past your filter.

My 1994 5 speed chevy cavalier was running great then all of a sudden just died. When I tried to restart it acted like it wanted to but acted like it wasnt get any gas or something. It didnt get hot and it...

fuel filters are a problem with Cavs. as are injctors. sounds like fuel pump or filter though, Good luck with the filter.. man oh man... GM made that impossible.
u have to buy a special little itty ***** tool for 20$ to remove a plastic guard lock from the left side of the filter. Be careful, u break that then u have to replace the whole entire line from the filter to the tank.
Big high five for GM huh?

I need to know where the fuel filter is on an 1988 Jeep Wrangler?

I dont know much about Jeeps, but all you have to do is get under the truck and look for the fuel lines.Fuel lines are usually shiney so you can see them easy. They should be run on the same side your gas cap is on.You should see 2 lines, one is a return line and it will not have a filter.I get gas on my driver side and my fuel filter is under the truck almost perfectly centered with the driver side door.Good luck.

When I give it gas it acts as if it can't take it. Almost like it needs a tune up.

Try the fuel filter, it's right by the tank above the rear differential. It also could be the idle air control on the throttle body. I don't know these are just guesses.
