Question about 2005 Chevrolet Colorado
The heater/air conditioning switch that controls the blower either works as "off or high speed", nothing in between? Is this a simple fix? The dealer wants $100 just to check it out! P.PRESTON, CT
Also, I'm having the same problem, kinda. My blower doesn't work on any speed. It worked fine before, but now it doesn't.
However, it's not a hard fix. Here's a link to a site with a write-up on how to replace the resistor pack as well as the wiring harness: http://www.355nation.net/forum/how-tutorials-reviews-service-bulletins/6401-how-hvac-fan-motor-resistor-connector-replacement.html

Sounds like the fan resistor has failed
