2004 Toyota Sienna. Driver side sliding door problem.

It is not clear whether your key fob continues to work for the passenger side door. If it does not, you should replace the battery in the fob. Such batteries are available at Wal-Mart among the batteries. If the sliding door on the driver's side makes a noise but fails to open when you use the fob, the latch motor maiy have failed. If the cable in the side door has frayed and snapped, this would explain why you can manually open and close the door but the electronics won't move the door. And if while trying to close it manually, the door fails to latch properly, this is why you get an alarm. If the latch motor, cables, or any other components are malfunctioning, it could lead to the door not closing securely, triggering the alarm. Check your latch mechanism and cables. If you can determine the malfunctioning part and replace it yourself, that is cheaper than going through the dealer. Here is a service manual: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1061909/Toyota-Sienna-2004.html

Door chime on 2007 chevy uplander will not stop even when the door is closed properly. Is there anyway to disable it without disabling radio

Had this problem for some time. I have had the dealer replace motor etc. Problem still returns. Noticed that the foam seal around the right side door has started flatening out over time and was beginning to spill into the lipped plate that the door sensor buttons possibly could be prevented from making proper contact. Trimmed approx. 3/8 of an inch off the foam in the area of the plate, and the problem seems to have gone away. Hope this helps.

My power sliding door won't close all the way, door alarm keeps r

I recently bought a 2006 Uplander LT with low miles that is very loaded and has the dual power sliding doors. I had the same problem with my drivers side door and I finally found the solution. With the door open I got down on my knees and looked into the track and followed it to where is stoped, which is just under the drivers seat left rail, and I found an expandable foam material that GM sprayed in the corner of the track and I could see where it had a mark in it where the door roller was hitting and causing the door to think that something was in the way. I had an interesting time digging this material out, and I literally had to get ALL of it out before the door would close properly, but once I removed it, I have had NO MORE PROBLEMS. I got this van cheap because it was a "Manufactures Buy Back" and I am sure that the deealer could not find the problem. Someones loss was my gain. I hope this works for you. GOOD LUCK!

We have the same problem, just opposite doors - the passenger slider will close to 80%, but the driver still functions fine. There must be an easier solution than new wiring harness/motor??

Chevy uplander 2005 and there is a constant beeping that will not go away its constant ..it has to do with the sliding passenger door they say but how do i fix it?

That happens to me all the time!! I just pull over, put it in park, open both sliding doors halfway then close them. This always gets rid of the problem. It's happening because one of the doors isn't catching correctly when it closes and once u hit a bump or anything you will here the dinging.
