Passenger Side Rear Door Will Not Open

Hi,
I have a 1992 Mercedes S500 4-door sedan. The car has not been in an accident. The right side rear door will not open when you pull on the door handle with the door lock tab in the open position. The electronics and vacuum system work and the door will lock and unlock with both the interior switches and the remote key button... but, the door will not open. Any suggestions on getting the door open so that I can remove the interior door panel to see what is not engaging? Also, any suggestions on how to properly remove the interior door panel so that I don't damage it. Thank you, very, very, much for guidance.

If you can lower the window down you can jimmy it open from there preferably from the inside has more padding in the inside seal compared to the outside one i can see the switches working but some how it detached itself try and hook around the area were the door latch is not door hinges lol it wont be an easy task but a thin coat hanger as well as possibly a rubber door stopper to give ya some space to work with may help out good luck take her easy with the door stopper don't push it in too far may crack the plastic

problems with 3 out of 4 doors? Has your vehicle been in an accident just before these problem started? Cavaliers are known for problems but I have never heard of this type of situation unless the vehicle has been in an accident and the body wasn't realigned properly or verified.

Typically when you get a door that opens from one handle and not the other the problem is inside the door and part of the latch assembly has either broken or come apart. To fix it you have to open up the door itself and get to those controls.

The reason I asked about the vehicle being in an accident is because you described the door opening on it's own. Now that could have been because it didn't catch correctly but with all the other problems you mentioned I am concerned that the doors are out of aligned.

Locate fuel filter on a 1990 190e mercedes

The fuel filter is located under the car just in front the of rear axle near the right side (passenger side if you're in the USA). It's right there with the fuel pump. Make sure you depressurize the fuel line before changing it though. :) Also have a fire extinguisher close by - just in case things get crazy.

Clicking coming from rear right panel in 2003 Lincoln Navigator.

it sounds like you have a door ajar switch issue if it says "door open" when it's not. Is it clicking in the passenger rear door or in the storage area behind the rear seat behind the right trim panel?
The liftgate wiring may be back there.
Your door lock & unlock relays are in the vehicle security module which is under the center area of instrument panel.
I looked at the wirng diagram and don't see too much back there.
Let me know what you find on where the clicking is coming from.
We'll go from there

Rear passenger side door will not open

the problem would be the wiring on the door, possible a break in the wire, therefore the window and the central locking isnt working, possibly the earth wire is broken, open the front passenger door and u should see a sleeve connecting to the rear door, that is where the wiring to the door is, check ! also i would check the fuses. thanks
