For the LS400 1UZ-FE V8 the firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2, RH from the front 2-4-6-8, LH from the front 1-3-5-7. The RH/LH of the engine is facing forward, in other words, from the drivers seat looking forward.

Mazda 323 firing order, is it clockwise on distributor cap

on the four stroke right hand ( clockwise ) turning engine the firing order is 1-3-4-2 but there are some exceptions on European model. The firing order is also clockwise set because your engine is right hand turn. For you if you like to see also what I stated you can remove the distributor cap if you know how,and by starting the engine you will see the rotor arm turning clockwise.

Where is the indication of firing order on the distributor cap of a 1990 chevy 4.3L (silverado 4X4 6 cyl)?

There wont be a firing order on the dist cap , there might be a firing order stamped onto the intake manifold near usually infront of the throttle body.
to get the cap wiring you will need a manual, some auto store will print you off pictures of the cap firing order and cylinder numbering, just ask.
