Well then - you have to demise that it not getting gas without your help.

I think Chevy has a fuel pressure test cap on the fuel rail .
Remove the cap and you will see a bicycle type valve. Push the center
pin down with a small poker and see if fuel spurts up.- meaning fuel is
under preassure in the rail and available to the injectors if the
computor tells them to inject. If you have pressure then you got to go
look at a bunch of other stuff.

IF YOU HAVE CHECKED THE FUEL PUMP FUSE AND RELAY AND THEY ARE BOTH GOOD THEN THERE IS A GOOD POSSIBILITY THAT THE FUEL PUMP HAS GONE BAD. YOU MAY BE ABLE TO GET IT TO PUMP ONE MORE TIME IF YOU BANG ON THE BOTTOM OF THE FUEL TANK WHILE SOMEONE ELSE TRIES TO CRANK THE ENGINE. IT MAY TAKE A FEW TRIES TO GET IT TO START, BUT THIS HAS WORKED NUMEROUS TIMES FOR ME. IF THE PUMP DOES TURN IT MAY NEVER RUN AFTER THIS, SO FIGURE OUT WHERE YOU WANT TO TAKE IT TO GET IT REPAIRED. THE TANK MUST BE DROPPED TO REMOVE THE PUMP. HOPE THIS HELPS. GOOD LUCK. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR AN HONEST RATING AND FOR USING FIX-YA

Hook up a fuel pressure guage to the shrader valve. Pressure should be almost 50psi with the key on engine off. If you don't have access to a fuel pressure guage try listening for the fuel pump priming when you turn the key on. If you don't hear it or you have no fuel pressure back probe the wires to the fuel pump and be sure you have 12 volts when cranking. If you don't trace the wiring to figure out why. If 12 volts are present replace the fuel module.

You need to see if you can hear the fuel pump. If so then have the pressure tested. If not then test the fuse to the fuel pump, if it is good you will have to replace the fuel pump, in the tank. Good Luck

My 1985 grand Marquis won't start I can pour gas

Take the gas filter off. Should be located near the front of the carbeurator, take off the air cleaner and look for it, it takes 2 wrenches to take it off, a little gas may spill out but not much and replace it, however there is a strong possibility that he gas pump is out if the filter is fine. Hope this helps

1996 suburban just died on road has spark at the plugs i poured some fuel down the throttle body and it would not start what could be the problem? thank

Timing belt slipped. You'll still have spark and fuel, but it will not start. If you had a timing light, you'd probably find that it is off. Happened to me last year. . .

Flooding at stop lights strong gas smell

A fuel delivery problem is most likely causing the stalling. Check the fuel pressure regulator and the fuel pump.
