only makes a ''clink'' noise but every electronic thing is working?

Just want to clarify "clink". Is the clink noise coming from a relay (this would be a very faint "click" under the hood near the battery) or from the starter (which would be a heavier more metallic "clink" from under the engine).

Check the battery terminal connections. If they are dirty, corroded or loose, it will allow some current through to power the electronics but not enough to start. Are the connections at the battery clean and corrosion free?

Check for a loose battery connection or corrosion around the battery posts. Many times a weak connection will supply enough power for lights, radio etc but not enough for the starter to engage. Best of luck !

Battery wont charge and when i turn the key back it makes a clicking noise

that means the battery cables are dirty clean them
or the charge system is failing.
the clinking is the sounds of electronics going nuts, with too low a voltage to run.
can be 4 things.
  1. battery no good.
  2. cable to same green with corrosion.
  3. alternator (or related )bad.
  4. phantom drains, you charge battery and while asleep it dies.
forget all those odd symptoms, the battery right now is dead
fix that first, (cause )

No elecectrical won't start

hi lynn. the first thing i would check is battery and battery conection, after that, fuses . J would have to have more information about your dodge to determine what is wrong with it.( does it make any noises when u start up the engine? if you know the battery is ok but wont start up, u should listen if fuel pump is working after u turn key on in ignition. If fuel pump doesn't make any noises thats praboblay what is wrong solution : new pump

2005 ford focus will not start. No clinking noises, no power to anything. We switched out the battery worked for a bout 2 weeks now samething! We try to jump start it but nothing.

Those cars are problematic. A couple of years back, I worked on a 2005 ford focus, and it had a recurring problem. The battery and alternator had been replaced about 3 or 4 times, and the fix would be only temporary. I did a little investigating, and discovered that the alternator was overcharging the battery. Checked all the system wiring, and it was all good. The alternator wiring, however, was melted from the heat apparently caused from the overvoltage. Replaced the affected wiring, and swapped out the alternator, but the damned thing was still overcharging. Unfortunately, I never was able to come to a conclusion as to why the alternator was overcharging. One thing I can tell you is that this charging system is computer controlled by a module in the instrument panel, if i recall correctly. I did not want to pursue the matter any further. If they make the cars any more damned complicated, they will be flying to the Moon!! I was done with it.

I have a 2000 towncar wtih clinking noise under dash. Sounds like the blinker is on but it isn't. Apply the brake, stops the noise. Turning on a turn signal stops the random clicking. It stops after...

it could be in fact the turn signal sound since this is produced electronically by the cluster

pull the cluster and confirm its making the sound

I replaced quite a few at the dealer for similar concerns

Saturn L Series- won't start

Try to turn it over by hand. See if you can put a wrench on the alternator or some thing to try to move it by hand. It sounds like your engine locked up. The clicking sound is from your starter trying to turn it over. If you can move it by hand then you need to check out the starter.
